Description

Experience the luxury of resonant flanging with the Electro-Harmonix Neo Mistress Flanger pedal. This device faithfully recreates the rich, harmonic sweep that has defined the classic Mistress, presenting the full spectrum of tonal density that flanging adds to your musical performance.

The Neo Mistress is not just a nod to the past; it takes flanging into the future with its manual filter matrix, a standout feature that allows you to freeze the filter sweep and command control over it. This gives you more room for creativity and personalization, resulting in truly unique soundscapes.

Furthermore, the pedal features a Feedback control that allows you to dictate how much of the processed signal is fed back to the original. This means you can contour the effect to your specific taste, adding depth and dimension to your music.

Whether you're a professional musician or a hobbyist, the Neo Mistress delivers top-tier flanging at a surprisingly accessible price, making it a must-have addition to any pedalboard.

Key Features:

  • Classic flanger sounds with sweep and speed control

Electro-Harmonix Neo Mistress Pedal Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

Electro-Harmonix Neo Mistress Flanger delivers classic flanging in a compact package, perfect for pedalboards with limited space. While it lacks stereo functionality and some advanced tone controls, it compensates with its versatile Filter Matrix Mode and visual LED feedback. Ideal for those seeking unique and space-saving modulation effects, but may not satisfy those needing more in-depth tone shaping.

Electro-Harmonix Neo Mistress review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Electro-Harmonix Neo Mistress Flanger is a compact, user-friendly pedal that delivers versatile flanger effects without the complexity of extra knobs. Priced under £60, it offers great value, delivering iconic sounds reminiscent of artists like David Gilmour and Andy Summers. While it lacks the ability for all-out jet flange effects, its versatility makes it a fantastic addition to any rig, particularly for those who want quality without spending a fortune.

Perfect Flanger Pedal

I love this pedal. I like simple pedals so with just the two knobs it’s great for me. The Rate is pretty self explanatory and works perfectly. The tone of all the electro harmonix pedals are very pleasant to my ears. This one adds that super cool “spacey” sound as much or little as you like based on what settings you use. Also, seems very interactive to the way I am playing. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Didn't Do Everything I Wanted It To

I had this pedal for about a week before ultimately returning it. It was the first flanger pedal I had ever played. It sounded good! I like simple pedals, but this pedal had me wishing I had more control over other settings.

The other reason I returned it was because it made a terrible high pitch noise whenever it was off or on. I tried switching everything around, different cables, etc., etc., etc. Just didn't work properly for me, but that doesn't mean it will happen to you.
