Critic Reviews

Mooer ElecLady review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Mooer ElecLady Flanger impresses with its compact size and '70s-inspired flanging tones, capturing the essence of the classic Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress. Its sound is richly familiar, even featuring the metallic whine of the original's Filter Matrix mode. However, the pedal's small black knobs hinder precise adjustments on stage, and the Color knob can become too intense, creating a less desirable sound. Despite these minor drawbacks, the ElecLady delivers a nostalgic sound in a pedal that's significantly smaller and more affordable than its inspirations.

Why Aren't There More Mistress Clones?

This thing is cheap; too cheap for me to have believed how good a job it does of emulating one of the most iconic and sought-after flangers of all time. Pair it with a delay and chorus for some Andy Summers delights, or pair it with a screaming fuzz for some Gilmour/J Mascis brilliance.

I own the E-Lady; the difference between that and the ElecLady I confess I do not know, but I will say I perceive a slight volume drop when I turn it on (it really is only very slight though). I put it behind my Satisfaction fuzz, and it completely opens that fuzz up, eliminates the fizziness I experience with that pedal, and (surprisingly) seems to give everything a little more clarity. I'm very satisfied with this.

flanger

Really nice budget clone of the Electric Mistress flanger.

Excellent traditional flange

Bought this to emulate Electric Mistress tones of Alex Lifeson and David Gilmour. It does the job I want it to and less in your face than the boss flanger I have - depends on what sound you are going for which one to use

mkn_upa

I never try the EHX one but it seeems that's a good clone... i love it with a fuzz and a trem... (always the Spacemen soooond ;)

jo_hannes_g

great flanger

Great Mistress clone. However you loose a bit of volume when the pedal is engaged.

Good copy

Très belle copie miniature de l'electric mistress ! Seul bémol, ya une petite perte de volume lorsqu'on l'enclenche
