Utilizing a quad PT2399 chipset, originally intended for echo and delay, the Meadowsweet transforms these elements into a chorus ensemble with four distinct voices. Each PT2399 chip operates with its own individual chorus/delay times, resulting in a rich and immersive audio environment that is both dynamic and dimensional.
The Meadowsweet employs both standard and inverted LFO signals, giving the modulation a distinctive sense of motionlessness that truly defines its "dimensional chorus" characteristic. Unlike traditional choruses, it uses readily available components, steering clear of BBDs or DSPs, and instead, creates something uniquely its own. The pedal is powered by a standard 9VDC center negative power supply, making it an easy fit into any setup.
Customize your sound with intuitive controls: adjust the Rate to set the speed of modulation, modify the Depth for the strength of the chorus effect, and use the Bend to fine-tune the delay time for a tape-like "wow" effect. The Tone control lets you sculpt the frequency content, while the Blend allows you to dial in the perfect mix of dry and wet signals. Whether you're seeking subtle texture or lush soundscapes, the Meadowsweet offers a versatile palette to explore.
