Description

Look, feel and tone of the early solid body electric guitars from the 1950s.

We are passionate about vintage guitars. We love the way they look, feel and sound. We work hard to achieve these qualities on newly built instruments.

We apply old school techniques to make every guitar feel like an old friend, different and unique.

Our finishing and aging processes are meant to make a guitar feel like a vintage workhorse that’s been played every day for over 60 years.

All materials are selected according to vintage specs and they are meticulously treated to replicate the passing of time.

They say God lives in the details.

We believe it only takes a few details to set apart an outstanding instrument from a correct one, and we strive to get those details right.

Julian Lage can be seen playing and talking about his Nachocaster equipped with a Ron Ellis Ellisonic pickup in many of his live performances and interviews, including this on Premier Guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQRWM0cqkS4&t=130s

Nachocaster guitars are meticulously crafted vintage T-style replicas built by Nacho Baños. This specific guitar is loaded with a Ron Ellis Ellisonic pickup in the neck position. Modeled after the classic DeArmond Dynasonic design, the Ellisonic pickup provides Julian Lage with the incredible acoustic-like clarity, touch sensitivity, and note separation that defines his signature tone.
