Description
The Vintage EG 411-3 by Norma
The Norma EG 411-3 is a vintage Japanese electric guitar produced during the mid-1960s and sold under the Norma brand in the United States. Manufactured by either Kawai or Teisco during a transitional period in Japanese guitar production, the model is known for its distinctive offset body shape, three single-coil pickups, and elaborate switching system. Like many Japanese imports of the era, the EG 411-3 combined futuristic styling with affordable construction, helping introduce electric guitars to a generation of beginner players. Its bright, raw single-coil tone and unique visual design have since made it a cult favorite among collectors, garage rock musicians, and enthusiasts of vintage MIJ (Made in Japan) instruments. Surviving examples are increasingly rare, especially in original condition with functioning electronics and hardware.
