Description

Unleash the sonic potential of your modular setup with the Oakley Sound Systems Overdrive-II. This powerhouse module brings a dynamic range of overdriven and distortion sounds to your fingertips, offering two distinct waveform modifiers that cater to both the subtle and the extreme. The first modifier is a classic overdrive circuit, providing both 'Hard' and 'Soft' modes for versatile sound shaping. Whether you're seeking the gritty growl of a high-gain amp or the smooth warmth of a tube-driven overdrive, the Oakley Overdrive-II delivers with style.

The second waveform modifier, a harmonic multiplier, takes your sound to new heights by folding the waveform, creating rich, strident tones that react dynamically to your input signal. With adjustable gain for both the overdrive and harmonic multiplier sections, and the ability to blend wet/dry signals, you have complete control over your sound sculpting process.

Designed with flexibility in mind, this module allows you to operate its modifiers in series or parallel, opening up a wide spectrum of tonal possibilities. Whether in the studio or on stage, the Oakley Sound Systems Overdrive-II is an essential tool for any modular enthusiast seeking to push the boundaries of their sound.

Key Features:

  • Two waveform modifiers: classic overdrive and harmonic multiplier
  • 'Hard' and 'Soft' modes for the overdrive circuit
  • Symmetrical folding and soft clipping for dynamic tone shaping
  • Adjustable Drive, Timbre, Blend, Foldover, and Balance controls
  • Series or parallel operation of waveform modifiers
  • Compatible with both Oakley/MOTM and Synthesizers.com power headers
  • Current draw: approximately 25mA per rail
