1976 Rogers Londoner V Drum Set — Not So Modern Drummer

notsomoderndrummer.com

The 1976 Rogers Londoner V drum set is a vintage gem with its robust KOA finish and sturdy Memriloc hardware, celebrated for its durability and timeless appeal. This set, featuring a 24" bass drum and standard depth toms, impresses with its sound quality after some restoration. However, it requires significant cleaning and polishing to regain its former glory. For those who appreciate vintage charm and are willing to invest time in maintenance, this drum set is a rewarding choice that delivers both aesthetic and sonic excellence.

best kit i have ever played

I bought my Rogers Kit second hand. i am the proud second owner it has had from new . I have all its previous history even a photograph of the previous drummer that owned it . Its a Rogers Big R made in London 1976 and its a gold metallic shimmer. It changes color under different lighting from gold to orange to silver yellow and opaque its almost like an opal.. the drums are 5 ply shells with a distinctive grey primer speckle paint job on the inside of each shell.
