Very close emulation of the famous Roland Juno sound
Let me admit right away that I never played a Juno 6, Juno 60, or a Juno 106.
But I did try to recreate the sounds that "Dr Mix" created in this video on the Roland Juno 106 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWZ3yYFGHQg
I did so on the Cherry Audio DCO-106, the Togu Audio Line TAL-U-NO-LX and, obviously, the Model 84.
I right away had a dislike for the DCO-106's filter, even when not comparing it with the Juno 106 in the video.
But the TAL-U-NO-LX and the Model 84 both sound awesome and I came very close to recreating the sounds of the video.
Choosing between the two is a very personal thing
TAL-U-NO-LX has more features then the the Model 84.
I think the user interface of the Model 84 is nicer.
I tried to create factory patches from the TAL-U-NO-LX on the Model 84 and vice versa and I always liked them a little more on the Modal 84. Somehow more transparent without being really brighter, if that makes sense.

Stunning
I've tried a few Juno 106 emulations, including the Roland Cloud, and this sounds absolutely amazing. It's lush, alive, and very analog sounding . We are definitely reaching the age where soft synths no longer sound digital.
Artist usage
Add artist
Scott talks with MusicTech about the Softube Juno emulation, stating that it's "one of the best soft synths ever made... It’s just like a real synthesizer. It’s crazy. I don’t know what they’re doing over [at Softube] but their synth plugins seem way ahead of everybody else’s."
