The reviewer is especially taken with how human the results can sound, calling it a brilliant “virtual session singer” for songwriters and producers, with standout value for the price. The catch? Version 2 reshuffles parts of the workflow, so existing users may need to unlearn some habits before the benefits click. And while that’s a practical hiccup, the bigger “con” is more philosophical than technical: this software raises uncomfortable questions about how much humanity a lead vocal still needs. A startlingly deep AI vocal workstation that FutureMusic says makes version 1 look like a warm-up. The praise is loud: convincing vocal quality, a slick piano-roll workflow, strong DAW integration, excellent Audio-to-MIDI, fast rendering, and a ridiculous amount of control over phrasing, harmonies, and humanization—all for a very fair $99 entry price. It’s especially appealing for producers who want polished synthetic vocals without fighting the software. The caveats are real, though: early bugs and crashes cropped up, Ableton integration was shakier than Logic, note editing can punish sloppy MIDI with unnatural phrasing, the new Mouth Opening feature isn’t fully baked, and extra voice packs at $79 each can get expensive fast. Still, the verdict is emphatic: hugely capable, easy to use, and one of the most compelling AI vocal tools around.
