garbage
an ancient driver in their installer, called tkpd.sys ( google tkpd.sys and you'll see it's well documented ) , blue-screened my pc. Cost me hundreds in repairs, and months of re-installations. I sent softube emails about this, and they couldn't even respond, even though I'd bought £200+ of their plugins before this happened. I now boycott this company.

Sound is nice but its just not fun.
It has a nice sound that's a different vibe than the analog modelling of Reaktor's more analog blocks and yet the hardware inspired interface is a bummer. Moving imaginary cables around with your mouse is not a lot of fun. I wish they had a more computer friendly GUI for routing like Reaktor or maybe a matrix type of setup where you add a module and it goes into the matrix or something. The sound is pleasing but I just can't discipline myself to use it.

Huh, bummer. I grabbed it a few weeks ago on a fire sale, haven't had time to really dig in yet. I actually kinda got it cuz Kyja loves modular stuff but it's just not in the budget so this was a cheap point of entry to get her a taste. When I did I had the same feeling but figured I just needed more time...

Turns out my Reaktor license is fairly limited too. Fuckity fuck...

I know, I can buy a couple monosynths for what a functioning, bare bones eurorack would run me! and to be honest I will probably plug those eurorack modules together in rpetty tame, minimoogish ways tos tart
are you familiar with synthesizers.com ??? been thinking about doing their 'module a month club' and building something up for a few years

I'm game but the price to get in is just too large currently. Not because they're too expensive but that I know I'd fall in headlong & it'd siphon the cash away from the studio or say a particular lil' AC 30. Big chunk of time as well & ive hardly got extra time already.
I forgot about modular of the month tho! Gonna go take another look now...
