Nikki used Spector basses 1987-1990. Spector made a run of these Spectorbirds, PJ config with just a volume control until Gibson issued a cease and desist order to Spector for copyright infringement. Fernandes also produced a few until Gibson did the same to them.

Brian wheat can be seen using one of these bass guitars here. Spector in the 1980s kramer era made these bass guitars for a short while until gibson had found out about it so they stopped making them. Fernandes also made these bass guitars but Gibson had declared a cease and desist to them as well.
