If I only had one VCO
Wavetable, 4 oscs, superosc (super saw but for all wave tables, think ensemble). Huge modulation potential.
This is the kind of VCO that doesn't need filters. I've built full lush pads, wild trance organs, and acid bass lines. All easily too, it's quite easy to get to the sound you're imagining, especially with the help of wavedit, the open source wavetable editor for this module.
