Two Notes Le Bass review | MusicRadar

The Two Notes Le Bass Dual Channel Tube Bass Preamp impresses with its versatility and robust tonal options, making it a valuable tool for both recording and live performances. Its dual channels allow for extensive tone shaping, with Channel A offering solid bass tones and Channel B adding a growl for more aggressive sounds. The Cold and Hot Fusion modes provide additional versatility, mixing clean and distorted signals for richer soundscapes. While it excels in tone customization and can partner with a cab simulator, the preamp's strengths are slightly overshadowed by the scarcity of notable drawbacks. Overall, it stands as a practical and effective choice for bassists seeking a flexible preamp solution.

Bass OD/DI/Preamp Pedal Roundup - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Two Notes Le Bass Dual Channel Tube Bass Preamp offers a versatile and intuitive interface that delivers clean and overdriven tones with impressive clarity. Its dual channels provide ample control, while the Fusion modes enhance its versatility, allowing for unique tonal blends. The pedal's Ruby 12AX7 tube and extensive connectivity options, including MIDI and headphone outputs, make it a robust choice. However, channel B's low-end can sound thin at lower gain settings, and the Hot Fusion mode may become congested under heavy overdrive. Overall, the Le Bass is a solid choice for bassists seeking rich, dynamic tones.

My must have pedal!

I bring this pedal everywhere that I play. It definitely enhances my sound and is helpful so that I don't need to bring an amp. I can go straight into the house. If I really need to, I can plug my in-ears into the pedal as well.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I mostly use the 2-band side and will adjust the eq depending on the bass I'm using.

I am so grateful to hear from a gigging/working bassist... & settings to boot. Much appreciated!
