Description
The Xvive AT-3 Audio Tester Ultra is a versatile, split-design tool that brings efficiency to audio troubleshooting across various environments. Comprising the independent AT-3M and AT-3F units for male and female XLR connections, this device is built for rigorous testing of XLR and DMX cables. It delivers flexible, long-distance testing capabilities that are essential for both live sound and studio setups.
With its integrated signal generator, the AT-3M can output a 1kHz sine wave or pink noise through XLR-M, 1/4-inch, and 3.5mm connections, offering three selectable output levels to suit diverse audio gear. On the receiving end, the AT-3F accepts signals via XLR-F or 1/4-inch inputs, routing them to its built-in speaker or headphones for immediate monitoring. This makes the AT-3 a reliable partner for testing speakers, pedals, cables, DI boxes, IEMs, mixers, and more.
Phantom power checks are simplified as the AT-3M meters pins 2 and 3 of the XLR output to ensure proper voltage. Meanwhile, the AT-3F provides visual XLR input metering, helping diagnose issues with microphones, cables, or mixer outputs.
The AT-3's split-unit remote testing feature allows for efficient XLR cable troubleshooting, with clear LED indicators on both units providing instant feedback. Add in the rechargeable battery and intuitive controls, and you have a compact yet powerful tool for audio professionals.
