Vocaloid 4 Cyber Songman & Cyber Diva Review - Bedroom Producers Blog

bedroomproducersblog.com

Yamaha's Vocaloid 4 Editor, particularly the Cyber Songman and Cyber Diva voice banks, offers a compelling synthesized vocal experience with intelligible and expressive capabilities. While not matching the dynamic range of human singers, these voices are efficient for replacing humans in simple vocal tasks like jingles or demo tracks. Cyber Songman stands out with a more natural tone than Cyber Diva, making it a better candidate for mainstream hits. However, the standalone software lacks seamless DAW integration, and achieving a natural performance requires time and skill. Overall, Vocaloid 4 is a powerful tool for creative producers seeking synthetic vocal versatility.

The addition of Growl and Cross-Synthesis is excellent

If you have Vocaloid 3, I would definitely recommend upgrading! Vocaloid4 has a wide variety of voices available, and cross synthesis and growl capabilities really add to the possibilities.

the #1 thing i use. in reality, it's a kinda glitchy, sad program, but it's lovely. it supports VBs from V2 as well, so woo!
