Quick and sufficient.
Sony Acid Pro 7 is a nice little audio workstation. It handles all the basic tasks pretty well. it's quick and sufficient. I like to use it mostly for creating podcast's/mix's. Although you can connect and use your MIDI controller with it, I wouldn't recommend doing that since the software is a bit outdated and is very buggy. It does have some nice sounds in it and you can use it together with Ableton Live 9.
