Description

Dive into the sonic landscape of the ZVEX Ooh Wah, a marvel in the world of guitar pedals that combines the classic wah effect with a sequencer and a dash of randomness for an experience that's as unpredictable as it is thrilling. With a nod to the legendary sounds of Frank Zappa's "Ships Ahoy," this pedal isn't just an effect; it's a ticket to a journey through uncharted musical territories. The ability to switch between sequencer settings with eighth wah settings and a randomized bandpass filter, all controlled with a deceptively simple speed knob, makes the ZVEX Ooh Wah a versatile and essential tool for guitarists looking to add depth and character to their sound.

Key Features:

  • Combines wah effects with a sequencer for dynamic soundscapes
  • Random mode emulates the bandpass filter from Frank Zappa's "Ships Ahoy"
  • Eighth wah settings for the sequencer allow for 4, 6, or 8 steps, creating a versatile range of sounds
  • Simple speed knob to adjust the effect's pace on the fly
  • Mode switch to toggle between sequencer and random settings for added sonic variability

be patient...

I got this for a song my covers band were doing which was saturated in wah and I couldn't be bothered exercising my right leg for 5 mins every gig. its hard to dial in an accurate pattern I think personally. but if you want wacky nonsense when playing drunk in the kitchen look no further. I paid only 100 quid for mine too which is a bargain.
