Johnny Stevens' Gear
Another Strat used by Johnny, it's vintage white in color with a white pick guard and a zebra hum bucker in the bridge. Not as broken worn in as much as his other Strat.
I saw the amp at one of their shows in Hollywood, it was a Thunderbolt. You can see it in the bottom right of the picture.
This is a picture I took at a Highly Suspect concert back in August of 2015. You can see in the bottom row of the pedal board that the third pedal from the right is a blues driver.
I am Scott “Stonewall” Miller, owner of Stonewall Pickups, and I designed the Highly Suspect signature humbucker for Johnny Stevens. It is the only pickup Johnny plays now.
It's an HSS model, unable to tell from the pic whether or not it is American, Japanese, or Mexican made. Blonde/aged olympic white in color, black pick guard, black pickups, 21-fret maple neck. "Elvis fucked Marilyn" sticker on the bottom side of the body, and the word "FAT" behind the bridge. Seems to be modded for one volume and one tone, with the second tone knob removed for a miniswitch.
I took this picture at a Highly Suspect concert in August of 2015. You can see in the bottom row of the pedal board, between the BD-2 and H9 that there is the iconic Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker Switch. Johnny uses this to get some out of control tones, as seen on the Pre-Grammy's concert of 2016.
In an Instagram post, Johnny Stevens of Highly Suspect is shown using the EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath V1 on his pedalboard.
I saw it on stage in Hollywood. He mentioned it to the sound tech when he asked him to switch to that amp. You can see it on the bottom right of the image.

In the Premier Guitar "Rig Rundown" video, Johnny Stevens of Highly Suspect showcases his Custom Lavender Venice MCID Electric Guitar, which he built himself using swamp ash for the body and roasted maple for the neck.
I took this picture at a concert in August of 2015. Next to the Big Muff pedal on the bottom row is Eventide H9. Johnny uses this pedal to get some very space alien like and unstable, wacky sounds during guitar solos.

I took this photo at a Highly Suspect concert back in August of 2015. You can see on the top of Johnny's board that he is using a Ernie Ball Volume Pedal.
I took this picture at a Highly Suspect concert in August of 2015. You can see the pedal next to the MXR analog delay, in the top row is the easy to spot, EarthQuaker Ghost Echo. You can tell by the iconic paint job with out even zooming in that it is a Ghost Echo.
It's in the beginning of the video. Bottom row of the board, in the middle.
In a photo shared on Twitter by user Austin Wiese, Johnny Stevens' pedalboard is visible, revealing his use of the Boss PS-5 Super Shifter among other effects.
In a Premier Guitar Rig Rundown interview, Johnny Stevens mentions that while he used to prefer Fender guitars, he now plays a custom electric guitar made by his bass player, which he regards as the best in the world.
Johnny Stevens uses a Gretsch White Falcon Semi-Hollow Guitar as his secondary instrument, a gift from his record label, 300 Entertainment. This is evident from a photo on Highly Suspect's Instagram account.
At a concert in August 2015, I photographed Johnny Stevens' pedalboard, where you can spot the Korg Pitchblack tuner on the far edge of the bottom row. This pedal is a staple among professional musicians.
Johnny can be shown using a heavily decorated Les Paul Standard, in what looks to be in the band's early days.
Picture taken last night at the Hollywood show. He only used it for one song ("Mom"), so it was probably a backup for the Strat (he only had his main strat, Tele, and the SG with him). Cherry red finish, black pickguard, and two black P90s.
In this rig rundown Johnny shows us his board. We can see this pedal on his board.

Johnny Stevens recently shared on Instagram that he received a custom-built Fender Telecaster from Rich Meyer during a live performance.
