Josh Farro's Gear
In this photo from a performance for the 2007 Van's Warp tour, you can clearly see his guitar which is a Fender 72 Telecaster Deluxe in black.
"This is my head right here. JCM 2000 Duel Super Lead. I like it a lot," says Josh Farro, at 3:03 in this video.
Josh speaks at length about his two custom Fender Telecaster Deluxe. His main one is this 'Goldtop'-finish with a fake f-hole. His other is a heavily 'aged' sunburst finish. By looking carefully at the bare wood of the 'aged' one we can see that they have alder bodies. Their fretboards are rosewood. Their necks are most likely maple with 'vintage' amber finishes, although he does not point this out specifically. The pickups are a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat at the neck and an unnamed Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge; most likely an Alnico II Pro as Taylor York, the other guitarist of Paramore at this time, used a Phat Cat & Alnico II Pro combination in his own custom Fender guitars. There is no regular production guitar by Fender which matches this specification. There are no stock photos of these two guitars; the image used as an example of this guitar is a Chris Shiflet signature Telecaster Deluxe in Shoreline Gold, which is the closest model Fender makes to Josh's unique custom guitar. These guitars, especially his main Goldtop one, are entirely unique to Josh.
The actual head was not shown, but Josh mentioned in the video that he owns one and that he loves both amp heads.

You can see this at 2:04 and throughout. Josh has said this was one of the first guitars he ever bought, a Gibson Les Paul Classic. He has switched the pickups at some point, some videos he has uncovered cream coloured humbuckers whereas others he has nickel covered humbuckers. This was his main guitar used in the All We Know Is Falling studio tracks and live shows, he used it for some parts of Riot but stopped using it live. He used a different Les Paul (Standard) later on in the studio for Careful from Brand New Eyes.
