Thomas DeLonge's Guitars
This is the signature guitar of Tom DeLonge, that he uses is both of his current bands, Blink-182 and Angels And Airwaves. It features a single pickup in the bridge position. The pickup is a Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup. It also only features a single speed knob, for the volume of the pickup. You can see him using it in the music video for Down.
A black Fender Telecaster with what appears to be a mirrored pickguard was used by DeLonge while tracking for the Angels & Airwaves song "The War".
At around the 0:34 minute mark, DeLonge is seen playing black Epiphone Sheraton II.
This guitar was made for Tom during the Enema tour for Adam’s Song. It is the prototype of the Fender Sub-Sonic. Its scale is 27”. It has Sperzel locking tuners and a black Seymour Duncan bridge Invader. The color of this guitar is Fender plain orange. Tom also used this guitar to record Obvious. He later sold as part of the Reissue sale
Very briefly at 0:10, one can see that Tom is playing a Heritage Cherry Gibson SG Standard. Ilan Rubin can be seen briefly at 0:11 playing what is presumably the same guitar.
In this video of the recording of "Feeling this", at 0:58, one can see DeLonge playing Gibson Les Paul Custom.
Thomas' famous 814ce can be seen being played at :13s in this video.
Thomas DeLonge used a Gibson Les Paul Standard during Blink-182's live performance of "Dammit" on ABC TV's Recovery in Australia in 1998. This is documented in a YouTube video by utterlybrilliant.
In this photo, one can see DeLonge playing his Gibson ES-335.
In 1997, Thomas DeLonge used a Fender American Standard Stratocaster as a backup guitar to his White Sticker Stratocaster. This guitar featured a Seymour Duncan Invader pickup at the bridge, a stock single-coil pickup, and a distinctive sticker. The photo from the Montreal concert that year captures this setup.
Tom uses a Martin D-28 in Blink-182s studio to help writing Not Now.
In this preformance, Tom Delonge uses a Guild D-55 Traditional Series acoustic guitar. At 4:00, you can see get a good look at it.
In the picture you can see Tom DeLonge using an Epiphone ES-333 Tom DeLonge Signature.
On Sessions @ AOL on November 3, 2003 Tom Delonge with Blink 182 can be seen playing a custom Fender Baritone Jazzmaster with one humbucker and one volume knob.
In the documentary "Tom DeLonge - The Pursuit of Tone," Thomas DeLonge is seen using a prototype of his Fender Stratocaster Signature model. This guitar is characterized by its faded surf green color, a Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker in the bridge position, a single volume knob, a pearloid pickguard, and a tremolo bridge. Notably, it also features a non-functional pickup selector slot.
Known as the "Sticker Strat". The white Fender Stratocaster famously covered with stickers played by Tom in the 1990s.
Tom DeLonge used a 1994 40th Anniversary American Standard Fender Stratocaster from Oct 1994 to sometime in the Fall of 1997. The guitar was purchased sometime around Oct 1994 right after Cheshire Cat was recorded. It can be seen with barely any stickers in this footage from blink playing SOMA on October 7th, 1994 right after Cheshire Cat was recorded. Tom eventually switches to his red made in Korea Squire Stratocaster midset.

The guitar was covered in stickers over the years and the stock pickups were removed. The Oct 7th 1994 SOMA video shows the stock bridge single coil replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr, and the neck single coil replaced with a Seymour Duncan hot rails, leaving the middle single coil pickup as stock.
Eventually the bridge pickup was replaced with a white DiMarzio X2N set at an angle, and the Seymour Duncan black JB Jr. was moved to the middle pickup position with the neck pickup still using a Seymour Duncan black Hot Rails pickup. This is the most famous configuration of the guitar's pickups. The stock saddles were also replaced at one point with Graphtech saddles, sometime in 1995 or 1996. The DiMarzio X2N is the pickup heard on They Came To Conquer Uranus EP, Lemmings EP, Dude Ranch, I Won't Be Home For Christmas, and live recordings during 1994-1997. Contrary to popular belief, this guitar was NOT used on Cheshire Cat. His red made in Korea Squire was. I have photos I can use on that submission's guitar.
Sometime in Fall 1997, The DiMarzio X2N was been replaced with Seymour Duncan black Invader pickup and Seymour Duncan JB Jr. also replaced with Seymour Duncan Lil' Screamin' Demon pickup. This is the current configuration of the guitar as seen in the photos linked on Imgur below. Also in Fall 1997, right before being retired and replaced in use by 1997 Gibson Les Paul Standards, the guitar was de-stickered and recovered with shapes/patterns cut from black electrical tape as well as the bunny's of a blink-182 sticker at the time.
As of September 2021, I sent Tom's tour manager a set of accurate stickers to resticker the guitar to it's former glory. He started to de-stickered the bunny stickers and electrical tape but has not restickered it yet.
I'm attaching some photos his tour manager shared of the guitar in it's current electrical tape state as well as after he took the electrical tape off. You can also see the serial number on the headstock which will date it and identify it as a 1994 40th anniversary edition Fender American Standard Stratocaster.

In the YouTube video by littleredguitars2, Thomas DeLonge is shown using a custom-made Fender Cyclone Electric Guitar, featuring a Duncan Invader bridge pickup. Although he has since sold it, this guitar was a notable part of his collection.
Thomas DeLonge is seen playing the Baratto TD-333, a unique guitar crafted specifically for him, during the Virgin Mobile FreeFest on August 30, 2009, while performing "What's My Age Again." This rare instrument is highlighted on the Baratto Guitars official site.
The Guitar is shown in making of the Album "The Dreamwalker"
In this video, at the 4:00 minute mark, Tom can be seen using what looks to be a modified Telecaster, in a natural red finish, with (what looks like) a P90 neck pickup, recording for the song 'Asthenia' off of their self-titled album.
Tom uses this guitar during the AVA 2019 tour for his acoustic medley of songs (the songs being "There Is", "Aliens Exist" & "I Miss You").

In this video we see Tom playing his Gibson ES-333 signature guitar white version.
This is first Tom DeLonge's Fender Baritone Strat. It has tremolo bridge and 24 fret Tele neck with maple fretboard. This guitar was originally orange. And Tom DeLonge respray the guitar to Blue. And was put on sale for Reissued in 2014.
This guitar is used for Adam's Song during 1999 Loserkids Tour.
Thomas DeLonge is seen using the Gibson ES-333 Tom DeLonge Signature Special Edition, as shown in a Rolling Stone image.
This guitar is a red Made In Korea Squire Stratocaster. Not much else known about it. Assumed to be the guitar found in the trash and given to Tom by a friend but we don't have definitive proof of that. Covered with stickers over the years.
It has all 3 stock single coil pickups. Tom oddly played and recorded with this guitar set to position 4, using and blending the middle and neck single coil pickups. This gives the recordings it was used on a very odd, distinct sound, especially for punk rock.
The recordings this guitar was used on are Flyswatter, Demo 2, Buddha, Short Bus and Cheshire Cat. I have photos of Tom in the studio recording Cheshire Cat with this guitar. It's the only electric guitar we know of him owning until he used the advanced money from Cargo Records, after signing with them, and bought his 1994 Fender American Standard 40th anniversary edition Stratocaster aka the "sticker strat".

Tom used a Taylor 614ce for numerous live acoustic performances in the past. It is the 600 series, note the Maple back & sides, and the fretboard inlays.
In this post tom shows off his fender starcaster he was ent by fender. It has a single duncan humbucker in the bridge. Tom added some stickers to the body of some of his favorite bands. He dubbed it blink guitar 2.0
In this Instagram post, you can see Tom Delonge’s new fender starcaster, modified to have one volume knob and blink smileys on the inlay.
In this Instagram post, Thomas Delonge is the first prototype of the production version of his custom Fender Starcaster. This is evident due to the fact that his personal ones have the Blink smiley inlays as opposed to the standard dot ones that will be on the Fender Tom Delonge Starcaster.
