The tonal possibilities on this bass are very broad, with a P-style pickup in the middle and the Ibanez Dynamix in the bridge, which seems inspired by the Music Man pickup. You can blend the pickups with one pot and select between serial and parallel with the switch.
This thing is a heavy beast, though.

I have a great preamp already and was hoping this would fill in the effect gaps, but sadly, it doesn't do the trick for me. The choruses were nice, but I could never dial in the octave or synth effects to anything usable for my own playing.
