One perfect device with a few miniscule niggles
If you're planning to buy this for Ableton, go ahead. If you're planning to buy this for logic well GO AHEAD. Why?? Because it is fire. Transport keys in logic really help (apart from the idea that you can select only 8 tracks at a time) the knobs being 8 in number are adequate for most of the synthesisers except alchemy which has an extra two knobs, but these are easy to use. They do not work on any plugins however and I find them most useful over there. The pads have a good feel.to it but the keys are a bit too spongy, but gets better with time. But my biggest gripe is the buttons which take a certain angle and pressure to switch off. They feel cheap because of their response time and the way you use it. Personally I would dread using this for a love performance with buttons like these. The arp is fantastic but there should be a tempo match button to match the tempo of your song in the daw. Its not really a nifty feature if you're making a song but it is good to use live (provided you can manage with the buttons) . I couldn't find a review for logic Pro but it works well in it leaving all but few features all accessible. Definitely a good beginners midi keyboard

Pitchbend, modulation, and midi CC in the smallest, lightest, highest quality package available.
Required all of these features and I need an ultra-portable lightweight device. This meets all those needs and more with the excellent launchpad-like functionality.
