Songwriting tool bar none!
A semi hollow was on my radar for a time. Given that I wouldn't need to plug a guitar in, the fact that I could pick this up and play at all hours without making too much noise is a huge benefit.
It's a gorgeous thing - natural finish shows off the wood grain and it has an excellent heft.
Sound wise, it's lovely. Tone is warm, airy, and has good projection. Plugged in with my 1/2 watt practice amp and I'm getting amazing jazz and blues tones. I can only imagine how it'll sound when I get my full rig plugged in for it!

This is by far the best guitar to come out of the Classic Vibe line up!
After owning 2 different Modern Player Starcaster I decided to give this Squier a try. I mean, Squier has been hitting it out of the park with the Classic Vibe line up and this is no exception. While some were less than enthused about the early 2019 additions to the CV Series. I can say without a doubt that this is the best sounding Squier you can currently buy. The pickups are nice and actually sound pretty decent. They're bright, but super bright. The neck feels like butter and the walnut finish is the most gorgeous out of all the Starcasters that fenders put out since 2013. (a total of 5 finishes) Overall this guitar is amazing and I think it will give Epiphone a good run for its money.

A sleeper semi-hollowbody 👍👍
Ugly headstock?? Nonsense!! As hollowbodies go, this is a wonderful axe, all the more so for being affordable to the starving artist. It's very easy to play and handles fx well! A little buzzy with light strings, but as soon as I put power slinkies on it, all was well!
