I have replaced the pickups with the original Dimarzio ones and it plays just beautifully. I'm a huge fan of Satch and his sound and if you are the same, you will not regret buying this guitar.

This is one of the best guitars I have, whatsoever, I never played the guitar with the walnut neck and the height of the fretboard seems to be a bit too big for my hands. Whatsoever, I haven't spent too much time playing the guitar and more I do, more amazing it seems. I guess I just have to give it time and let my hands and mind get used to it. Sound wise, the guitar is too bright for my taste. I'm a huge fan of JS and my type of sound is warmer and more "bassy". Nonetheless, for the money, you won't get better for the prestige series. The guitar is built beautifully, has locking tuners and generally every detail is just amazing.

I've probably tried few hundred picks in my life and since I'e started using this one, I can't use anything else. It's just an amazing pick, with awesome grip and awesome feel. I would highly suggest it.
