Old reliable!
In my re-exploring of the Jazz III family, I picked up some OG Jazz IIIs. Shooting them out side by side against my Ultex Jazz IIIs, and I'd be hard pressed to choose between the two of them.
Amazing. I can see why they're so beloved. I'm rating four stars here because I'm still waiting for my MaxGrip Nylon Jazz IIIs to come in, and I'm sure that'll be the deciding factor as to whether or not I choose nylon over Ultex.

The running spike of picks
Sure, they feel a bit odd when you try them and you wonder how you're going to get used to such a small pick, but if you want to play fast and accurately, you should give them a proper try.
the perfect pick (I prefer the EJ and stiffo versions but they all come from this classic design)

Every other pick feels wrong in my hand compared to this pick.
My good guitarist friend of mine, Zach, got me started on these picks when I first picked up guitar. Every other pick feels wrong in my hand compared to this pick. I am no professional guitarist, but I think I certainly benefited from using and learning with this pick.

The John Petrucci Jazz III XLs are pretty nice & durable, if you're a Dream Theater fan you could give them a try.
