"This 1956 Fender Precision Bass is owned by Jason Newsted

Present In the studio for every recording from 1990-2000

Serial: 12201 This P has all the correct wear for an instrument of its age—scratches, scuffs, dings and tarnishing etc. The frets are quite worn down, but it still plays and sounds amazing. The neck is perfectly chunky and broken in. Includes ash tray covers, hardshell case, and a secondary pickup, which looks to be the original. It is unclear whether the pickguard is original. The case is quite beat up and is missing a latch. Overall, this bass is both a piece of history and an incredible player.
