Our go-to for vocals and bass
This channel strip is one ridiculous piece of gear! It's a channel strip consisting of 1 channel preamp (from the GTQ2) a really musical 3 band eq AND 2 compressors (from the GTC2) yes 2 compressors one FET and one OPTO and to make it even more crazy you can use both compressors and adjust the amount with a "combo" knob. This is made by former Neve engineer Geoff Tanner and although you can hear the Nevish sound in it, I must say it is more than that. Its not really a 1073 clone in my book, it is more like an improvement. Its sounds BIG, open, modern with some of that Neve warm round bottom, but the compressor is so versatile you could run anything through this and make it sound better. Don't Sleep on Aurora Audio!
