Description

• Dual channel (stereo) solution • Premium‡ CUSTOM transformers • Converts unbalanced < > balanced • Isolates amp simulator pedal outputs • Isolates balanced/unbalanced signals • Splitter for 3 amps, interface or mixer • Eliminates ground loop hum and noise • Long-Line (330ft./100m) Send & Receive • 100% passive — no power supply required

Running two amps from a stereo pedal will normally result in unwanted ground loop hum and noise. Use the DUO between both the left / right outputs of the pedal and the inputs of the amps to immediately kill the ground loop, eliminating its hum and noise.

The DUO can split a mono signal between three amps, or two amps and an audio interface or mixer, without any ground loop hum and noise. And, the included PHASE push-button ensures you'll never have a phase cancellation issue (which results in a sound that can be described as hollow, thin, not as loud and/or lacking low end or fullness).

To split a dual mono or stereo signal, simply use both of the THRU output jacks at the same time as the two ISO-TX output jacks. Connect the two THRU jacks to another destination or even a second DUO for an additional pair of isolated splits.

If you’re using an amp simulator pedal such as the Line 6 HX or Helix, Strymon Iridium, UA Dream, Lion, Ruby, or Woodrow, or the Walrus ACS1... then the DUO should be your first choice for both isolating and interfacing the sim, from and to, the front-of-house. Since the DUO is not a DI box, its balanced output signals are not padded (down), so less or no gain will be necessary at the console. Always play confidently knowing that the DUO's custom shielded transformers and its GROUND LIFT push-button ensures your tone will be at its absolute best and hum-free.

The buttons, input and output jacks are decisively arranged so that the DUO can serve as a pedalboard's output patch-box or interface. Also using an IsoFormer™ DUO or RCV (x2) in front of your amp(s), enables sending your signal(s) via ¼" TRS balanced cables over extra long (up to 330ft./100m) distances with the best noise immunity possible; ensuring the tone reaching your distant amps is flawless and noise-free.
