A must have if you play a lot with loop pedals
I'm a looper weirdo and i use this footswitch with my boss fc-5 and boy... you can do a lot of stuff with this boy, can programme the drums, the tempo, a lot with this switch, use your footswtich for my fender bass amp effect, it work with my synth, useful if you plan to do a live presentation alone, you just need a lot of practique to squeeze all the possibilities, useful, i don't understand why people complain about the buttons they feel very good to me, good quality material.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
buy a TRS cable that divide from stereo to two separate imputs, Just put polarity in 1 and the mode momentary and you can use without giving energy.

A fun, gimmicky unit that's well built enough to become a part of my rig.
I know that there's some use that others have found with this unit with some looper pedals, I however use this unit with the Boss DD-8, mainly for the twirl affect that you can toggle with it. To be honest now that I'm thinking about it... I only have this unit to press one button that makes one effect... still worth it imo!

Does the job well, and it tough
Pretty simple, the pedal is versatile, does the job, and is pretty indestructible.
