The Boss RCL-10, part of the Micro Rack Series, is a compact compressor/limiter/expander/gate that offers a lot of control for its size and price. Despite its affordability, the unit lacks input overload indication, which can be a drawback when managing complex setups. However, it provides adjustable attack and release times, making it versatile for various applications. While not perfect, it delivers a decent range of effects for a home studio environment.
