a great 59 copy

mine is a 78 or 79 made by tokai.... long tennon, feels like nitro finish, subtle flame but more or less a plaintop. Pickus are gotoh PAF style that sound like T-tops to me... does a solid zep in bridge position, Medium beck, bigger than my Greco and smaller than my LP Platinum. A great les paul for the buck (about $1k SD)... wide nut unlike my greco mr which has a 60s thin nut on a 50s style guitar.

its okay, not my best guitar or my worst, it hasn't been seeing a lot of action as much as I liked it when it came in... its built a lot like a modern Gibson with some 50s features if you read my review. Epis aren't. Also, while tis built pretty well its not an accurate 59 copy. I think tis a great guitar though. I certainly rpefer it to the 88 Les Paul Standard I owned. I would certainly put it against any Epi made anywhere but japan...
