phonearena.com

Caustic 3 impresses as a robust music creation tool for mobile devices, equipping users with synthesizers, samplers, mixers, and more, all accessible in the palm of your hand. While it might initially overwhelm beginners with its complex interface of knobs and switches, the app is rewarding for those willing to dive in, especially with the aid of helpful tutorials. Great free app.

Caustic is an unbelievable deal at "free" on PCs, and $10 on Android. I made my first whole songs on the app, and I can't imagine my musical life without it. It's got some cheap sounds, but also some good ones. Overall it's a great app, and capable of some very advanced techniques. I'd love it if someone like Chemical Brothers took up a challenge to make a song or an album with it, because I know they'd put lots of more expensive DAWs to shame.

great for making noises while you poop!

i use this when im in the can. its a pretty powerful noisemaker when you hook it to the mixer. the pc version supports midi and is not a bad synth. i use it to generate sounds to port into reniose or when i have an idea and am not at my thinkpad.

A great app

While not as expansive as other, commercial DAWs, Caustic is still great for a free DAW.

jimmarchi1

worth downloading?

lilythewolf

Definitely, especially since it's free on PC.

Nice and cheap

You will get your money's worth. This program is cheap but is very varied in sounds and synths. I would recommend importing third-party plugins though as the default ones tend to be low quality.

just the fact to compose a powerfull song just with a smartphone !!! amazing...

kakofonousadischord

Cheap and Effective

For only $10, you get a lot of power inside a phone app. I highly recommend for android users.
