I tried to make this build super minimal and clean with no visible screws and minimal hardware. Sapele body with inlaid curly maple “pickguard” (which is basically just aesthetic at that point). 25” inch scale Sapele neck. Indian Rosewood fretboard with a subtle compound radius. Ebony headplate. I tried winding double slug humbuckers which the verdict is still out on. Master volume, master tone, and a bass roll off for the neck pickup, which in my opinion, makes the neck pickup much more usable when switching back and forth. Lots of other small details I experimented with which maybe I’ll highlight later.
