Description
The Darkglass Electronics Hyper Luminal Compressor is a revolution in the world of bass effects pedals, merging hybrid compression technology with an all-analog signal path. This pedal doesn't just mimic classic compression tones; it embodies them, offering the textured warmth and precision of iconic studio compressors right at your feet.
With three selectable models—BUS, FET, and SYM—the Hyper Luminal provides a versatile range of compression flavors. BUS delivers the punchy presence of a solid-state bus compressor, FET channels the legendary snap of the 1176 model, and SYM revives the beloved yet retired Super Symmetry pedal. Each model is easily accessible through the pedal's intuitive touch-through-metal sensors, which replace conventional switches and offer a seamless and durable user experience.
The Hyper Luminal features a straightforward 4-knob interface, allowing for precise control over Blend, Time, Compression, and Level. The Blend knob balances the clean and compressed signals, while Time adjusts attack and release settings, which can be further customized using the free Darkglass Suite software. Compression and Level knobs fine-tune the intensity and output, respectively. A 10-segment Gain Reduction meter offers clear visual feedback, ensuring your sound is perfectly dialed in.
Connect the pedal to your computer via its USB interface to unlock even more potential with the Darkglass Suite, where you can download new models and refine your settings further.
