Description
The The Model Two a simplified but fully functional Version of the Deke-Dickerson/Hallmark Signature Line by Hallmark Guitars.
The idea was to keep the essential tone, feel and vibe of the more elaborate earlier models , including classic “Mosrite-style” body shape, vintage-inspired pickups and hallmarks of 1950s/60s design , but make it more affordable and practical for everyday playing.
It retains the “JM-6” custom-wound pickups (in proper vintage-style Mosrite / Dobro pickup surrounds), a chambered alder body for lighter weight and resonance, and a “Shade” roller-bridge + vibrato for smooth tremolo action and stable tuning , giving you that classic surf / rockabilly / early-rock-n-roll twang without the fragility or tuning issues vintage guitars often have.
Specs:
• Body: Tone-chambered alder body with binding.
• Neck: Set Neck , Hard Rock Maple with bound rosewood fingerboard.
• Scale length: 24 ¾″ (≈ 628–630 mm).
• Nut: Bone nut.

• Bridge / Tremolo: “Shade” locking roller bridge + roller-bearing vibrato tailpiece.
• Controls: Master volume, master tone, 3-way pickup selector.
• Tuners: SIT tuning keys (vintage-style).
• Finish / Colors: Common finishes are Candy Red Sparkle, Royal Blue Sparkle, Gloss Black. There was also a very limited “Blonde Natural” finish run.
