Description

The 65 HQ Cone of Ventures / Mosrite–Style by Hallmark Guitars.

Stands out because it combines the classic vibe, shape and tone inspired by the vintage Mosrite “Ventures” guitars , beloved for their distinctive look and bright, biting single-coil surf-rock tone , with modern improvements for playability and comfort.
Unlike many vintage Mosrites, the 65 HQ typically offers a slightly wider, more comfortable neck and user-friendly fretboard.
Players often praise its smooth vibrato, stable tuning, and hotter, fuller-sounding pickups compared with some fragile vintage originals , giving “that Mosrite sound” without vintage headaches.

Specs:

• Body type: Solid-body electric guitar.
• Neck: Bolt-on hard-rock maple neck, bound rosewood (or Indian rosewood) fingerboard.
• Scale length: 24 ¾″.
• Frets: 22
• Nut width: About 1-5/8″ (≈ 41.3 mm) , more comfortable than many vintage Mosrite necks.
• Bridge/tremolo: Roller-saddle locking bridge + “Shade” roller-bearing vibrato (Mosrite-style trem).
• Pickups: Shade custom-wound single-coil (or high-fidelity) pickups , hotter and more stable than many vintage single coils.
• Body wood: Alder (for typical versions).
• Weight: ~ 8 lbs 11 oz (≈ 3.93 kg) depending on build.

(Nokie can be seen with a Ventures Mosrite) Who are the Ventures? They're arguably the most famous band to never sing a note, but while they became synonymous with the surf music that started to overtake America at the same time, their signature style applies to all different types of songs, making them the one band that can cover just about anything and make it their own

Where you might have heard them If you've heard the original version of TV's "Hawaii Five-O" theme, you're familiar with them, though their sound is usually more spare and rock-oriented. "Walk -- Don't Run" remains a surf-era classic,
