Handsome Audio Zulu also features a microphone stand mount, this allows you to increased flexibility to place Zulu in numerous configurations, from tracking room usage to control rooms with limited desktop space. Zulu features 4 tape formulas, 3 tape machine types, an internal Bias circuit that controls frequency based compression and saturation, an Enhance control that adds dry signal (with boosted upper mids and highs) back to the circuit in parallel and a machine Headroom control that controls the operating point before saturation, compression and tone shaping occur. Zulu is fully passive and does not require an external power supply or phantom power to function. Simply connect it to a signal source (converters, mixer, microphone preamp, compressor) and drive the input with level! Amazing tape tones, compression and authentic character that offers the classic palette to a new generation of users and professionals.
