Description

The MC150 is a Musician Series Solid Body Electric Guitar Model made in Japan by FujiGen introduced by Ibanez for 1981.

The MC150 features neck through body construction with mahogany wings on a five-piece maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers.
Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 88 humbucking pickups mounted in integrated plastic covers with individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, rubberized Sure Grip control knobs and Smooth Tuner machine heads.
For 1982, the pickups were replaced with Super 58s mounted in traditional plastic pickup rings, and push-push Duo Sound switches on the tone pots were added.
The MC350 is a related model with a sandwich body wing construction and other minor changes.
The MC150 was discontinued after 1982 along with the entire Musician series.

Wes uses this guitar for most notably Nookie and a couple other songs in the Limp Bizkit discography such as Sour and Stalemate, although it is 4 strings many fans classify this instrument as a modified guitar because of its scale length, many say it was custom made for him others say he took an ibanez model guitar and put a thin neck on it and filled the middle tuner holes. If you have any other info to add please go right ahead.

It is tuned to F#, F# (higher octave), B, E
