Description
The No.1915 Vintage Semi-Hollow 4-String Bass Made in Japan in the early 70ties by Ibanez
The Ibanez No.1915 Bass is a vintage early-1970s semi-hollow electric bass, produced in Japan between 1971 and 1972. It features a double-cutaway thinline body with f-holes, giving it a warm, resonant character that sits between an electric and upright-style tone. Equipped with dual humbucking pickups, the instrument offers a rich, rounded low end with smooth articulation, well-suited for jazz, blues, and vintage rock styles. Its construction reflects the “copy-era” design approach of early Ibanez instruments, with styling inspired by contemporary hollow-body basses of the time. The bolt-on neck and lightweight body make it comfortable to play while retaining a distinctive vintage aesthetic. Today, it is considered a rare and collectible model due to its short production run and unique design.
