Description

Meet the JHS Kodiak, a versatile tremolo pedal that elevates your musical journey with its stellar performance and distinct features. This powerhouse is inspired by classic Fender and Vox amp built-in tremolos, but with its own modern twist. The JHS Kodiak offers you an exquisite blend of vintage and modern tremolo sounds, making it an absolute favourite among tremolo users worldwide.

The Kodiak's tap tempo functionality lets you sync the effect perfectly with your music, enabling the creation of a fast shimmer or a slow, pulsating tremolo. With the choice of four different waveshapes, the pedal offers an impressive variety of tremolo sounds, enhancing your music like never before.

The Kodiak pedal also doubles as a boost. Simply dial the Mix down and crank up the Volume, and you get a clean boost to your signal.

Additionally, the Kodiak pedal is equipped for external control over the tremolo speed. Whether you need to place the tap tempo control away from the Kodiak or want foot control over the tremolo speed, the side input of the Kodiak pedal has got you covered.

Underwhelming

I could never really put my finger on why, but the JHS Kodiak was always underwhelming to me. I also don't understand why you can only control the rate with an expression pedal--to me, depth is a much more useful tremolo setting to control via expression pedal.

Replaced this pedal with an MXR M305 Tremolo, which I like much better.

Pretty rad tremolo pedal.

It has many adjustable parameters and sounds great with my amp.
