Koll Duo Glide review | MusicRadar

The Koll Duo Glide is a well-crafted instrument that successfully blends elements from iconic guitars like the Tele Thinline, Gretsch, and ES-335, delivering powerful humbucker tones and a variety of musical styles. Its standout features include a flawless vintage design and versatile sound, making it a hit for country, jazz, and blues players. However, the guitar is a bit on the heavier side, which could be a consideration for some musicians. Overall, the review is positive, highlighting the Duo Glide as a pro-level instrument with impressive playability and sound.

This one is my favorite. Plays like butter. TV Jones humbuckers and a Bigsby tail piece.

"It's made by Saul Koll. He's a builder in Portland, Oregon, and he is awesome.

I'm super into this thing. It's got a Mastery bridge, which I really like. These are TV Jones pickups, humbuckers. And the body is chambered; it's really light actually.

It plays really, really easily. It sounds like the best guitar I've ever had. I just like it a lot."

"This isn't one of the unfortunate PBG built bolt neck "Kolls", this is the real McCoy. This thing is super light, plays like butter, better than any Gibson I've had my hands on and sounds every bit as good as the Gretch solid bodies I've played and it just looks so good. Love this guitar."
