Kurzweil K2000 v3

soundonsound.com

Kurzweil's K2000 v3 upgrade breathes new life into a classic synth, transforming it into a formidable workstation. The revamped sequencer is a game-changer, offering comprehensive features that rival even modern DAWs. Disk operations have also seen significant enhancements, making file management a breeze. However, users may find the small screen cumbersome for editing, and the upgrade isn't free—costing up to £499 depending on the version. While it’s frustrating that some features were missing at launch, this upgrade ultimately delivers on Kurzweil’s promise of continuous improvement. If you're invested in the K2000, this upgrade is a must-have, just be ready for a bit of a learning curve.

Simply the greatest sampler, sequencer & synth ever made

Everything thing about the Kurzweil K2kSv.3 is great. The sheer power of it's sampling, sequencing & sonics are still viable today. It's still a must have for any studio, plug-in's & VST'S not withstanding. There are none that can match what original V.A.S.T. can do when integrated with any DAW and now with ZuluSCSI they're invaluability is evermore thanx folks
