It's the Sound !
I have two main keyboards for multiple sounds, splits, samples and so on. The Kurz is outstanding, I bought it with weighted keys although I'd never played weighted before, the action is excellent and perfect for those piano pieces. As it's a work station it can do pretty much everything you'd want, although not sampling, that didn't bother me though because I have the Triton Extreme for that. It's pretty much fully loaded with sounds when it arrives out of the box, but I added the Kore 64 board and it has excellent programmes and set ups. I recently added some extra sounds from Dave Weiser, he programmed tons of the sounds for Kurzweil and is independent now they too are outstanding, well worth checking his website out ( http://www.weisersound.com/ ) I also added the Kurzweil ribbon which is great form tunes like Crazy Horses ! And lead guitar tones too. I find that splits and set ups are easy to create. Set ups are collections of sounds layered or split across the keyboard ( in case you're not familiar with the terminology. Bottom line though, it's the sound.
