Smooth Opto Compression

Optical compression in this plugin is smooth, and setup is fast - saving me a lot of time in mastering.

There are attenuation and gain knobs up front, and they work against each other, so I use only one of them at a time. Regarding signal flow, a special compressor at 3k first compresses that tricky band of frequencies. Then, the magnum compressor is next in line. After these two compressors, an equalizer is fed in parallel with the compressed signal. This equalizer features the AIR band and is nearly identical to the Maag EQ2 (separate compressor). Last in line is a soft limiter with a makeup gain. I find I never need makeup gain.

This compressor takes the place of several components and simplifies my workflow, so I like it a lot.
