Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster Review – Guitars For Idiots

guitarsforidiots.com

The Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster impresses with vintage flair and affordability, making it a standout for the price. Its poplar body and classic design nod to the '60s, delivering clarity and versatility ideal for alternative and atmospheric genres. The rhythm circuit shines, adding depth to the neck pickup, although the standard pickups lack some richness. Playability is high, with a comfortable neck and decent tuning stability, though the bridge and trem system could be improved. For $400, it’s a steal, offering a great modding platform and a quality feel that rivals pricier models. Perfect for those seeking classic Jazzmaster vibes without breaking the bank.

Classic Vibe Jazzmaster Review: I see why this guitar is so popular in the alt... | Squier | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster is a standout for its affordability and quality, offering unique tones thanks to its Alnico single-coil pickups and floating tremolo. It’s praised for its excellent fit and finish, feeling more luxurious than its price suggests, and serves as a great modding platform. While the sound may not be as rich without effects, it excels in versatility, particularly appealing to the alt-rock crowd. Despite minor tuning stability issues with aggressive tremolo use, it’s reliable enough for gigging and holds its own against pricier counterparts. Overall, a fantastic entry-level Jazzmaster with vintage charm.

my first guitar

my first guitar, I use it for mostly rhythm guitar. It is an amazing player. Mine is Sonic Blue and has the tremolo. I use it for lead if I need killswitch stuff because I use the rhythm/lead pickup switch in the top corner as a killswitch and always ride on either the bridge pickup or both pickups, with a few exeptions

quezypsko

Very nice guitar.

My squier is baritone model with 30 inch scale. Very rich sound. Full of bass and low mid fq. This guitar is killer one to play in low tuning to some metal genre music. Playing on it is like riding a 6 string bass. Unique sound coming from the core.

abw

Absolutely beautiful, perfect sound.

Easily the best musical instrument I have ever owned. It's beautiful, the stock strings came crisp and new, and the sound is unmatched.

Decent

The sound is good. Clear tone that distorts well. Lacks in ergonomics and physical attributes- loose neck (easy fix), loosely fitting knobs and output, sunken pickups, and the bridge sucks. All can be fixed, not fatal flaws. Great for a new player with a couple hundred bucks.

instagvl

Killer guitar, no matter the price!

This guitar is an amazing value! An excellent platform for customization! Don't think twice, it's alright!
