PRS Sonzera 50 Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The PRS Sonzera 50 tube head is a versatile powerhouse, delivering a range of tones from sparkling clean to gritty high gain, all at an attractive price point. Its touch sensitivity and tone clarity stand out, making it a delight for players who thrive on dynamic expression. The Sonzera handles everything from bluesy riffs to hard rock shredding with aplomb, aided by its independent reverb controls for each channel. However, the lack of separate presence controls for the channels is a minor oversight. Overall, the Sonzera 50 offers a compelling blend of quality, versatility, and affordability.

Amp that doesn't lie

pros: + This amp's marketing is build on statement, that this amp can help you achieve any sound you need. And I have to agree with that - amp translates precisely all the details of picking and all overtones your guitar produces. Sounds are really variable and controls really simple. + It is really loud. On the other hand it may be too loud for home studio, so thomann you'll need to take it into account. + It sounds simply great and it great for it's price.

cons: - It produces silent ambient noise at overdrive channel. It is not really annoying, but it may need noise gate when recording with low dynamic volume played. - Power/stand by are placed at the back side of amp, not really big problem though.

In conclusion I'd say this is absolutely great amp, it would be suitable for stage, rehearsal or recording sessions. Really professional tool and nice price.
