Description

The PRS Mark Tremonti Signature MT 15 is an amplifier head that delivers a powerhouse of tonal versatility in a compact form. This amp is crafted for guitarists who crave high-gain intensity and crystalline cleans. Conceived in collaboration with Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge, the MT15 is designed to handle both the stage and the studio, offering a range of tones that cater to rock, metal, blues, and beyond.

At the heart of the MT15 is its two-channel design, featuring a high-gain lead channel known for its saturated distortion and a clean channel that sparkles with clarity. Each channel is equipped with its own set of controls, allowing for precise tonal shaping. For those quieter practice sessions or intimate gigs, the MT15 can be dialed down from 15 watts to 7 watts, without losing the amp's rich tonal character.

The MT15 doesn't just excel in sound but also in functionality. It includes an effects loop for integrating your favorite pedals and external bias controls for easy tube adjustments. A single-button footswitch is part of the package, making channel switching seamless during performances.

PRS Mark Tremonti MT15 Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The PRS Mark Tremonti Signature MT 15 is a punchy, compact powerhouse delivering high-gain tones with remarkable clarity. Its 15 watts pack serious punch thanks to 6L6 tubes, offering rich, articulate lead sounds and a tight, authoritative low end. Priced affordably, it’s a versatile choice for home, studio, or small gigs. However, the clean channel could benefit from a master volume for more dynamic control. Overall, it’s a well-designed, rugged amp that’s a must-try for rock enthusiasts seeking a fierce, compact rig in the $1K range.

PRS Mark Tremonti MT15 Amplifier – MusicPlayers.com

musicplayers.com

The PRS Mark Tremonti MT15 Amp impresses with its premium sound and versatile features at an accessible price. Its two-channel setup—from pristine cleans reminiscent of Fender Twins to powerful high-gain tones—caters to diverse styles. The half-power switch and presence control add nuance, though the clean channel's boost requires manual activation, a minor design flaw. Despite a misleading "Master" control label, the amp's tonal range remains articulate across various guitars, making it a standout choice for both studio and live settings. Overall, a solid amp with minor usability quirks.

PRS MT15

These sound great for rhythm but, also have an extremely tight lead sound. Single notes are very focused sounding which I haven't found in many amps. The low end is lacking a bit compared to big amps but, when recording you low cut guitars tracks anyway so it's not as big of a deal in these situations. I add a Tube Screamer TS-808 and find it sounds awesome this way.
