It's alright
I got this guitar for free from my uncle, who was a guitarist who loved Samick. It had lost the pickguard (which I don't see as much of an issue) and one of the pickups were a bit loose, when you pushed on it the pickup would move around. Obvious signs of usage, a new one would probably not have those issues. I''ve seen the prices of these go for between $180 to $240, which really isn't all too bad for what you get. Just a simple bolt-on Les Paul copy. There are some issues I have in mine, though. The 1st string (high E) has some intonation issues anywhere above the 12th fret. The bridge isn't the best, as I've gotten some string ends caught inside the bridge. Had to force them out using a screwdriver and the low E, which was one of the only strings that wasn't stuck. The humbuckers are ok. Not the best nor the worst. They are quite versatile, but this guitar doesn't have coil split. Overall, it's an alright guitar, especially for the price, although there are a few issues I had with it.
Artist usage
Add artist
Fernando Rivas uses a Samick LSE-450 Artist Series guitar, which was custom painted with a creamy color. Subsequently, Rivas applied duct tape to create certain flat designs, as documented in the video by Equipos Violas y Pedales on YouTube, and eventually, the guitar was painted entirely black.
