Description

Unlock a world of tonal possibilities with the Seymour Duncan Stag Mag, a versatile humbucker pickup designed for the adventurous guitarist. This innovative pickup stands out with its use of staggered Alnico 2 rod magnets, delivering a true single-coil sound when split. This means you can effortlessly switch from the shimmering, glassy tones of a classic Strat to the rich, full-bodied warmth of a humbucker, all in one versatile package.

Crafted for musicians who demand adaptability, the Stag Mag excels across a spectrum of genres from classic rock and jazz to country and funk. When in humbucker mode, it provides a robust and smooth sound perfect for lead playing, while split-coil mode offers bright and crisp tones reminiscent of vintage single-coils. Whether you're laying down intricate solos or strumming rich chords, this pickup ensures every note rings with clarity and depth.

Ideal for installation in the bridge or neck position, the Stag Mag pairs seamlessly with traditional string spacing and works beautifully with a variety of fingerboards, including rosewood, ebony, and maple. Its unique design and high output make it a favorite among professional musicians, allowing you to explore a broader sonic palette with ease.

James had this pickup in his electra flying v, the white King v and his iconic "so what" Explorer. All the info is from fabianexp84
