Description
The DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro, a versatile humbucking pickup, delivers a rich, balanced sound that musicians have adored since 1986. This powerful pickup offers the classic PAF tone, but with an extra punch of mids and trebles, making it ideal for guitarists who crave a classic sound that's a touch hotter and more potent.
Designed with strong Alnico V magnets, the PAF Pro produces an even response across the lows and highs with a slight midrange spike. Its open sound and exceptional clarity remain intact, even when pushed through a high-gain amp or a multitude of effects. The PAF Pro has a unique transparency that cuts through heavy processing without getting lost in the mix.
Whether you use it in the neck or bridge position, the PAF Pro enhances your guitar's tone without overpowering it. It works harmoniously with both single-coils and humbuckers, adding a diverse range of tones to your setup. From the aggressive chunk in the bottom-end to the enhanced high-end, the DiMarzio PAF Pro is a reliable choice that will take your guitar to the next level.

A definitively voiced pickup
The PAF Pro is just a great all-round pick-up for rock, blues, and metal. In the middle position of my Epiphone Black Beauty, it offers up some very interesting sounds, especially when it's paired with the DiMarzio X2N bridge, or with the Air Norton in the neck position, creating a much fuller and harmonically vibrant sound on either.
